Three College of DuPage trustee candidates running on ‘Clean Slate’ platform
Three candidates for the College of DuPage Board of Trustees are running on the “Clean Slate” platform, according to a news release from the group.
Charles Bernstein of Naperville, Frank Napolitano of Bloomingdale and Deanne Mazzochi of Elmhurst are putting their focus on reducing President Robert Breuder’s $762,000 retirement severance package.
Jim Nalepa, campaign chairman for the Clean Slate group, said in the release the candidates would “put taxpayers and students first, end Breuder-era corruption, and polish COD’s tarnished reputation.”
Board Vice Chairwoman Kathy Hamilton, who voted against Breuder’s severance pay and has been vocal about increased transparency at the college, endorsed the three candidates Monday…(read full)
